ScaleDesk GulfGet my shortlist

UAE · Saudi Arabia · Qatar · Kuwait · Bahrain · Oman

Arabic customer support, staffed properly.

Hiring six languages locally takes months and a stack of visa paperwork. We shortlist contact centres with a deep Arabic bench in Cairo and Amman — voice, chat and WhatsApp, on your working week.

Egyptian · Levantine · MSA · Khaleeji on request · Shortlist in 72 hours

Arabic and English is the minimum in the Gulf, not the target. Your customers also speak Hindi, Malayalam, Bengali and Urdu — and sourcing that mix across three countries is routine for the vendors we work with.

Dialect

The right Arabic for the job

Egyptian is the most widely understood dialect across the region and suits high-volume consumer care. Levantine lands better in banking, insurance and premium services. Khaleeji speakers are sourced where the brand genuinely requires it.

Bench depth

Cairo and Amman, not a token desk

Cairo has the deepest Arabic voice bench anywhere at the lowest Arabic cost; Amman is smaller and more premium. Both run seven-day rosters, so Sunday–Thursday and Monday–Friday weeks are covered by one team.

Quality

Measured agent by agent

Response-time targets, CSAT tracked per agent rather than team average, call recordings and Arabic macros maintained inside your helpdesk.

What is covered

Bilingual queues that do not fall apart at 9pm.

Ramadan shortens timings and pushes volume late into the night after iftar; Eid, post-Eid and the Dubai Shopping Festival bring sharp peaks. We plan rosters against the Hijri calendar in advance and agree temporary extra seats before the peak, not during it.

Scope of work

الدعم الصوتي

Arabic voice

Inbound care, complaints, retention and outbound follow-up in Arabic, with English handover when the caller switches mid-conversation.

واتساب

WhatsApp support

In the Gulf, WhatsApp is where the customer actually is. Business templates, catalogue replies and bilingual queues with agreed response windows.

الدردشة والبريد

Chat & email

Website and in-app chat, plus Zendesk, Freshdesk, HubSpot or Gorgias queues worked to a written response and resolution SLA.

Questions we get asked

Where will our customer data sit?

The work is processed at the delivery hub — Egypt, Jordan or India — so it is a cross-border transfer. Before you sign you get the hosting country named, the transfer mechanism documented, a signed DPA and the vendor's ISO 27001 and SOC 2 evidence.

Our week is Sunday to Thursday. Theirs is not.

That is a rostering matter. Offshore floors run seven-day shift patterns as standard, and one roster covers both the UAE Monday–Friday and Saudi Sunday–Thursday weeks.

Can we start with a small Arabic pilot?

Around eight seats is the practical minimum. Many clients start with an Arabic pilot on one channel and add English or back-office seats once the reporting is settled.
